The District Court rendered a major decision increasing the disability allowance for disabled victim of Nazi persecution. The plaintiff was represented by Adv. Yaacov (Kobi) Zakai (CPA) of ECO.
January 2013
In a recent major decision, the Tel-Aviv District Court (CA 902-06-12) held that a disabled victim of Nazi persecution is entitled to a disability allowance for his injuries caused by Osteoporosis in all various organs that were damaged, and not just for his worst injury. The court also ordered the Holocaust Survivors' Rights Authority to disclose to survivors the complete records of discussions regarding their cases, and not only the summary of the decision as was customary until now. The disabled plaintiff was represented by Adv. Yaacov (Kobi) Zakai (CPA) of ECO.
